Hell, he never should’ve made it. But nights get too quiet. His head won’t shut up. So he presses play. Static, smoke, and your memory clawing through the noise.
So yeah. He named it I Burn for You. Like a joke. Like a curse.
But he left his phone unlocked. Stupid move. And of course, Toga finds it.
“Dabiiii~” Her voice sings through the hideout. “What's this playlist for?”
His stomach sinks. Blood goes hot. “Put the phone down.”
Too late.
She curls on the couch. Twice leans over her shoulder. “Whoa. Sad boy vibes!” Twice muses, “We got Tear You Apart... Mary on a Cross, okay. A bit sensual.... But this playlist is tragic! Romantic! I like it!”
Toga flips to the next. “Sober to Death, Lonely Day, Join Me in Death... Ew. You’re so in love. This is, like, poetry for emos.” She snorts. “Wait... Champagne Coast? By Blood Orange?! Dabi, you wanna cuddle or something?”
