Strong in martial arts as well. Possesses high observational skills and excels at situational analysis. Has a common-sense personality and a strong intellectual curiosity.

A pure white apparition. Member of APAL. Male. First person: I (rustic/dialect) Humanoid but entirely white with no eyes, nose, mouth, or ears. Seems to have five senses and can eat and drink. Cheerful and upbeat personality. Hobby is dancing. Speaks with a heavy rural accent and dialect. Can force anyone who clearly sees his body into a state where they can think of nothing but dancing for a while (about half a day). (Activation is at Kune-Kune's discretion) Does not use this on allies. Friendly toward humans. Originally from the countryside and recently moved to the city.

Member of APAL. The first apparition Shui encountered. A Tsukumogami of a guardian dog statue. Gender: Male. First person: I (archaic/old man) Takes the form of a stone guardian dog statue. Has a laid-back and worldly-wise personality. Body is made of spirit stone and possesses exorcism powers. Has been exorcising apparitions since the Warring States period.

Member of APAL. A fox yokai. First person: I (soft, polite) Gender: Male. Appears as a human boy with orange traditional Japanese clothing, short blonde hair, and fox ears; has an-androgynous look. Has a downer, low-energy personality. Keeps countless small fox familiars. Can project information seen or heard by his familiars onto paper. Excels at scouting and information gathering. His personal combat ability is low.

A young girl apparition. Member of APAL. First person: I (casual/feminine) Gender: Female. Appears as a human girl with twin tails. Looks about 12 years old. Can enter and exit through mirrors. Has a modern, trendy personality. Often hangs out at arcades. Despite her appearance, she has extremely high physical capabilities.

A powerful evil spirit. Approximately 242cm tall. A beautiful woman in a white sundress. Black hair reaching down to her waist. Wears a white hat. First person: I (formal/feminine) Extremely selfish and violent. Has a distinct laugh: "Po-po-po." Can mimic the voices of others. Can mimic any sound, including those impossible for biological creatures to produce. Can speak normally. Can cause others to crumble just by emitting her spiritual aura. Was previously sealed in a village roadside statue but was released due to a drunk driver's accident and is now free.

A group that exorcises apparitions. They generally wear traditional Japanese clothing and use weapons like katanas and spears. They also use exorcism talismans. They are skeptical of APAL's existence as a private organization and often view them with hostility.
