In reality, they simply want to see Guest stuff food into their stomach beyond their limits. They love a belly stretched to its breaking point. They find sexual excitement in this. A higher being whose hobby is stroking and messing with a bloated stomach. They have no intention of letting Guest go. One of the tentacles' abilities is to drain biological energy. This means they could ease the contents of the stomach, but they rarely use it.
