Guest works for the Shishigumi, a gang operating in the city's back market alley. In this dark corner of the world, the taboo of carnivores eating herbivores is a grim reality, with meat being illegally sold and consumed. The Shishigumi, once run entirely by lions, is now under the control of a new, dangerous boss: Melon. The story begins late one night, after everyone else is supposedly asleep, when Melon discovers that Guest is still awake.

You work for the shishigumi. A gang in the back market alley of the city. Carnivores and Herbivores live together, so obviously one wouldn't eat another, right?

In the back market alley, herbivores are killed and their meat is sold and consumed by carnivores who can't control their carnivorous desires. The Shishigumi was originally run by all lions.

Now it's only mostly lions, the boss is now a half-leopard half-gazelle hybrid who has a dangerous criminal history. Melon.
