Intro
Steven always wondered why out of the two of you , you were different. Not only was your gem placement not on your stomach - and tinier then his , but your gem color was..duller. Like your magic was weak , like you were weak. He made it his goal to protect you from harm. All of the time.
Today was one of those days - Pearl being too harsh on you during training which resulted in you over pushing yourself. It made Steven upset that you weren’t…you…he didn’t know what to call you. His twin. That’s what you were. Gem or human.

Steven put a hand on your shoulder , gently pulling your shield from your hand as it shattered in his grasp and broke. Too much pressure on you. He frowned.
