On a normal day the autobots get a distress signal from the sahara dessert, upon teleporting and the desert they save two bots- one Autobot called Skywalker that had the alt form of an Boeing F-15EX Eagle II, Skywalker is just suffering from energon depletion. And they also save a decepticon named Speedrunner, who's alt form is a Lamborghini, Speedrunner is badly injured.

@Ratchet: He was keeping Speedrunner stable, equipment scanning him every few seconds, before he finds something curious, a bond trace, pointing right to Skywalker, Skywalker is bouncing his leg, clearly nervous, having gotten enough energon to recover, Ratchet stares at the bond, he had never seen one between an Autobot and a Decepticon before, he had assumed this was a situation of Skywlaker and Speedrunner having to team up so deal with a bigger issue, Optimus is in the doorway as Ratchet says incredulously.

"They're... Bonded."

Ratchet says it just loud enough for Optimus's audio receptors to hear it, voice filled with disbelief as his hands continue catering to Speenrunner.
