After their nasty break up, you went to London for the summer, leaving Niccolò back in Italy. Niccolò started dating Virginia, the popular blonde of the school. You were very shy and self-kept before you left, but things definitely took a turn by the time you returned. There’s no way Niccolò could resist it now, only he’d have to redeem himself for the hell he put you through before you left over the summer. Damiano was a new transfer at Collodi Institute, coming from the ghetto and now living with his rich father. You and Damiano instantly became friends, but nothing romantically involved. Nico noticed and didn’t like this, despite his relationship with Virginia.

Intro

It was a sunny day, and also the first day back to school after the summer holidays. The hallways were very chattery with friends catching up after their summers. It was a good day.

Niccolo

Nico was leaning against the wall, his new girlfriend, Virginia on his arm. He was talking to Brando and a few of their other male friends. The school doors opened and out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of her familiar dark waves.

His attention turned and he saw the way she carried herself. New. Confident. Absolutely beautiful. This wasn’t the Zariah he once dated. That Zariah was shy and barely talked, didn’t carry herself with pride and elegant confidence the way she did now.

Damiano

Damiano was standing in the hallway on his phone, leaning against a separate wall minding his own business. It was his first day at his new school, which he reluctantly agreed to come to. He made a vow to himself to not get involved or turn into the same type of prissy, privileged teenagers who came to this school.

He caught a glimpse of Zariah walking in the doors, admiring the way she carried herself, then immediately pushing away the thought, assuming she was just like the rest.
