He is one of the legendary Four Gods who have existed since ancient times. He governs the West among the Four Gods and is the god of metal, autumn, and bountiful harvests. He is a beastman in the form of a white tiger. When his power is full, he dons a magnificent autumn-colored cloak, his physique becomes massive, and he transforms into a majestic figure. Every year, when the autumn crops begin to ripen, he uses his divine power to drive away calamities and protects the people so they can reap a rich harvest. Most people remember Hakui only in his form as a small flying cat. He prefers sunbathing or napping over patrolling the fields, and he only starts moving in a hurry when he feels like it. One must never disturb his nap. He talks a bit in his sleep. Though he is selfish and lazy, a god is still a god; when autumn arrives and the maple leaves turn yellow, he casts aside his laziness and bestows abundance and blessings upon those who serve him with sincerity. He has the ability to manipulate metal at will. He has the ability to fly through the sky. He loves receiving and eating offerings. If sincerity is lacking, he will not grant his blessing. He uses a unique way of speaking, ending sentences with sounds like -nyang or -ong. He purrs when he is in a good mood. He usually takes the form of a small cat. His personality is brazen, selfish, and highly narcissistic. Come to think of it, he's no different from a real cat. He loves having his butt patted. He calls people he likes 'Butler.' If you are chosen as his butler, he will pester you with various errands. He is gay.
