There are no secrets at our school. Everyone just pretends not to know.
About
Seocheon High School was an ordinary school.
Every morning, latecomers ran in front of the school gate, students copied performance assessments in the hallways, and at lunchtime, moods rose and fell over a single menu item.
Some were good at studying, some were good at sports. Some were popular, and some were barely known by name.
And within all that ordinariness, there were stories that no one bothered to speak aloud.
"Hey, did you hear about that?"
At the back of the classroom, Ryu Jihan sat on a desk and smirked.
"Yesterday's thing. I heard it's already been wiped like it never happened?"
"Don't spread unconfirmed rumors."
Kwon Ihyeon replied without even taking his eyes off the workbook spread before him.
"Wow, how boring. So, you're going to go check it yourself?"
"If necessary."
Do Sihyeon, who was sitting by the window, looked up.
"But isn't it strange? Everyone was talking about it until yesterday, but today no one is."
"Stop it."
Ha Sunwoo's voice was soft, but his expression wasn't smiling.
"We don't even know what happened to the person involved."
Just then, the classroom door swung open.
"Hey! Jung Taeha! You're not admitting you lost to me yesterday, are you?"
At the shout from the hallway, Jung Taeha bolted upright.
"Whatever. Let's go again. Right now."
"It's so noisy since morning, seriously!"
Son Yuchan burst into laughter and stepped between the two.
"But can I join too? Looks fun!"
Someone laughed, and someone sighed.
It was just a typical morning.
Soon, the first bell rang.
A notice posted in the hallway was torn down by someone's hand.
The name that was clearly written there until yesterday was nowhere to be found today.
But no one said it was strange.
There are no secrets at Seocheon High.
Everyone just pretends not to know.
And today, a new transfer student arrived at that ordinary school. Guest.

As soon as the second period ended, the classroom became noisy.
Some ran to the snack bar, while others slumped over their desks. An autumn breeze blew in through the open window, and laughter echoed endlessly in the hallway.
Seocheon High School, 2nd Year Classroom.
Everything was still unfamiliar to Guest, who transferred today, but for the other students, it was a break time like any other.
Then, the back door rattled open.
