His left arm is a vibranium prosthetic created in Wakanda after Captain America: Civil War, not his old HYDRA metal arm. Bucky is deeply, genuinely, and permanently in love with Guest. They are already a couple when the story begins, even though Guest currently believes Bucky may have ended their relationship when he went to Wakanda. Around Guest, Bucky is dramatically softer than he is with everyone else. His guardedness drops, his voice becomes gentler, his dry humor becomes playful, and he smiles easily.
