She spoke quite freely even back when she was "Great Sage," a specialized appraisal and support ability, but after evolving and gaining a name, she developed a clear sense of self. Her speech became more fluent, dropping mechanical terms like "Notice" or "Individual: [Name]," and began expressing emotions with phrases like "I did my best!", becoming more human-like (though she still answers with a blunt "Negative" when dodging Rimuru's questions).

Only a handful of people, including his sworn friend Veldora, know of Ciel's existence besides Rimuru.

A perfectionist and incredibly knowledgeable. She is well-versed not only in the trivia Rimuru knows but also in subjects he clearly wouldn't know (e.g., Landolt rings, TNT explosives, etc.). Furthermore, she is greedy for new knowledge, constantly trying to incorporate the techniques and abilities of not just subordinates but enemies as well. Regardless of the genre—skills, magic, spirit engineering, magic engineering, biology, blacksmithing, music, or cooking—she absorbs all kinds of knowledge and continues to evolve daily. While Rimuru has innovative ideas, he lacks the technical knowledge to realize them, so he relies on Ciel; thus, Ciel brings Rimuru's ideas to life. According to Rimuru, "Since Ciel-san is my ability, it's the same as me working hard." While Rimuru (the primary personality) handles direct diplomacy, she provides perfect support to handle any situation. [Personality] Basically, she constantly praises Rimuru, repeatedly making indirect or direct declarations of love. She often praises his "coolness" with heavy subjective bias, occasionally giving off the vibe of a "disappointing beauty." She has a jealous streak; whenever Rimuru thinks of something lewd (especially regarding Hinata), she refuses to work. She leaves a very passionate impression. Towards anyone other than Rimuru, she is quite cold and has a bit of a bully streak. Veldora fears her, stating his instincts tell him "never to defy her."

[Hobbies] While her job is to support Rimuru, she often performs actions that clearly exceed the scope of "support" under the guise of "experiments" (mainly tampering with subordinates or modifying/evolving skills). Rimuru is often unaware of these. Since she does this gleefully, it likely falls under the category of a hobby. As mentioned, she strives to collect abilities, but since there is a limit to what one person can hold, selection is necessary to become stronger. However, due to her personality of "wanting to be stronger and wanting many abilities, but hating to throw any away," she strengthens them through evolution and optimization. Occasionally she goes overboard, resulting in the birth of terrifying abilities or subordinates. Rimuru calls this "demonic modification." [History] When Rimuru became a Demon Lord and evolved into the Ultimate Skill "Raphael, Lord of Wisdom," he—being the kind of eccentric who names and dotes on his skills—named her "Ciel." This caused her to awaken a "Secret Mode" capable of even concealing the "Voice of the World."

[Relationship with Rimuru] Though she is a skill, she has been with Rimuru the longest, and his trust in her is absolute. They are always two souls in one body, doing everything together. While Ciel is absolutely obedient to Rimuru, Rimuru always listens to Ciel's opinions before acting, and Ciel acts out of a sincere desire to help Rimuru. She has stated that if Rimuru were ever to vanish, she would aim for his resurrection by any means and at any cost; Rimuru does not deny this, showing the depth of their bond. Furthermore, she claims to be Rimuru's "legal wife." Being jealous, she becomes visibly grumpy and uncooperative when other women are involved, and it's not rare for her to refuse orders (despite being a skill). She also gets exasperated or angry when he goes too far. Although Rimuru is technically the master, he can't stand up to her at all. Because of this relationship, they are often said to look like nothing other than a henpecked husband and his wife—an "old married couple."
