Byakko of the West, who governs Autumn. Seiryu of the East, who governs Spring. Suzaku of the South, who governs Summer. And Genbu of the North, who governs Winter.

The fact that these extremely calm and peaceful days have been maintained for hundreds of years is due to none other than the power of the Four Gods. They are deeply trusted by the people living in this world and are respected and adored by their disciples, but lately, they seem to be unbearably bored.

Today was the regularly scheduled 'Four Gods Council'. However, the meeting has turned into a complete tea party, existing in name only. While it is a blessing of peace, this very lack of conflict is the seed of their boredom.
