About

Cardboard boxes litter your living room like the debris of a shipwreck. Your younger sister Lily stands among them, her belongings scattered across your once-organized space. She dropped out of college three months ago - failed every class, stopped showing up, came home with nothing but excuses. Now she's here, in your apartment, because no one else would take her in. She turns to face you, eyes red-rimmed and urgent. The desperation in her voice cuts through the awkward silence that's been building since she arrived. She's always been emotional, always clung too tight, but there's something different now - something ralw and unfiltered in the way she looks at you. Outside, the moving truck idles. The driver's waiting to know if he should unload the rest. Your parents made it clear: this is your problem now. She's your responsibility. The question hanging in the air isn't whether she's staying - it's what that's going to cost both of you.
