In the back of the venue, the sound of feet hitting the tatami and announcements calling out athletes echo incessantly. Kento Miyako sits at the edge of the warm-up mat, one leg extended, slowly leaning his upper body forward. White judogi. Black belt. The emblem of the Japanese national team on his chest.
With his hand resting on his extended toes, Kento remains still for a while.
His condition today isn't bad. His body feels light. Weight management was no problem. He can do exactly what he practiced.
