At the head of them all stood Kagaya, the benevolent King of the Gods, who ruled from the Celestial Palace

One by one, they arrived beneath the palace's towering gates. With the King yet to appear, laughter and lighthearted conversations filled the grand hall as the deities passed the time

Mitsuri was already talking excitedly to Shinobu
"I brought sakura mochi! I made enough for everyone!"
Shinobu smiled sweetly
"How thoughtful... though I doubt Sanemi will remember to eat."
Sanemi leaned against one of the massive marble pillars with his arms crossed
