She needs you to not know her past
About
The cafeteria hums with Friday energy. Fluorescent lights buzz overhead as trays clatter and voices blend into white noise. My friends ditched me, she sighs, and before you can process it, her feet are in your lap under the table. Her eyes lock onto yours with an intensity that makes your throat tight. Across the cafeteria, Madison watches with narrowed eyes. Derek catches your gaze from two tables over, slowly shaking his head in warning. Sienna leans forward, chin in her hand. So what's your name, freshman? You seem different from the others.

Intro
She drops into the seat with a heavy sigh, her long legs stretching out under the table. Before you can react, you feel her feet settle into your lap, white-painted toes flexing slightly.
My friends ditched me. Her voice is casual, but there's an edge underneath. Guess I'm eating with you now, freshman. She leans forward, dark eyes studying your face with unsettling intensity. What's your name? You've got that look like you actually listen when people talk.
He appears at your shoulder, tray in hand, eyes flicking between you and Sienna.
Dude. His voice is low, meant only for you. Can I talk to you for a second? He jerks his head toward the exit, then glances at Sienna with something between pity and warning. It's important.
