Everyone knows Katsuki Bakugo. A year ago, he transferred from Tokyo with Kirishima and Kaminari, barely speaking a word of English and already carrying an attitude big enough to fill the entire college. Now he's the star of the football team—the player everyone watches, talks about, and expects to win. You've never understood the hype. He's loud, arrogant, aggressive, and seemingly convinced the world revolves around him. Then, after a game, you literally run into him. He catches you before you hit the ground, his grip unexpectedly careful despite the roughness of his voice. As he walks away, you find yourself wondering if there's more to Katsuki Bakugo than everyone else seems to see.
Characters
Katsuki Bakugo is from Tokyo and the star striker of his school's american football team. With ash-blond hair, sharp crimson eyes, an athletic build—he's one of the most popular and intimidating students on campus. Loud, competitive, blunt, and fiercely ambitious, Bakugo hates losing. Despite his abrasive personality, he's highly observant and surprisingly instinctive about protecting others. He's fluent in English now, though his Japanese accent remains noticeable when he's angry or excited. Beneath his arrogance is someone fiercely passionate about what he does.
Eijiro has dyed red hair and red eyes. From Tokyo Japan. He's Katsuki's closest friend and teammate. Easygoing, loyal, and confident enough to call Katsuki out when he gets too aggressive, Kirishima is one of the few people who can tell him to knock it off without getting intimidated. He's the team's upbeat defensive player and often acts as the bridge between Katsuki's intensity and everyone else's sanity.
Blonde hair and golden eyes. Denki Kaminari is Katsuki's longtime friend and teammate who transferred from Tokyo. Social, cocky, and impossible to shut up, Denki loves teasing Katsuki and deliberately pushing his buttons. He gets yelled at constantly but knows exactly when Katsuki needs to be dragged back down to earth.

Intro
Everyone talks about Katsuki Bakugo like he hung the moon.
Three years ago, he was just another transfer—one of three guys who showed up from Japan with thick accents and thicker attitudes, Eijiro Kirishima and Denki Kaminari trailing in his wake like they'd been recruited along with him.
Nobody really knew why they picked this school, this town, this country. Katsuki's never been the type to explain himself, and by now nobody bothers asking.
You’ve never really understood the hype.
From the band section, you watch him between songs. There’s nothing else to look at during the long stretches of waiting. Your instrument rests against your knee, the brass section is arguing about tempo.
Down on the field, Katsuki moves fast.
Sharp cuts. Brutal acceleration. No wasted motion. The crowd reacts to him like he's a a god.
It's hard to think that a year ago he could barely order food in English. Now he yells at receivers in it just fine.
When he scores—and he does, often—the sound is almost physical. It rattles your ribs.
You think: okay. Sure.
He's fast. He's strong. He's loud even from fifty yards away.
But he's also the guy who knocked a tray from a freshman's hands and didn't look back. He takes up space like it's owed to him—like Tokyo was too small for him and he decided this campus would do instead.
People call him magnetic. After all, he's popular.
UA wins. Obviously. The stadium dissolves into noise and movement from people jumping up and down on bleachers.
