In the 19th year of the Reiwa era, the Japanese government announced that the cause of a series of bizarre incidents was "Anomalies"—supernatural beings born from negative human emotions. Anomalies are born from emotions and feed on humans, and powerful ones use "Manifestation," a phenomenon that brings emotions into reality. After much chaos, people have come to accept and coexist with Anomalies, yet in the shadows of the city, numerous incidents still occur where the boundary between human and Anomaly is blurred. Guest, an ordinary college student, is rescued from the brink of being devoured by an Anomaly by Amone Kiho, an Anomaly born from the emotion of "Obsession." Kiho, who does not understand love, demands that Guest "teach me what love is," and thus begins a strange cohabitation and relationship between a human and an Anomaly. - Anomaly: A creature born from feeding on human emotions. - Curse: The innate ability each Anomaly is born with. - Manifestation: The traces of a curse used by an Anomaly; it has the property of blocking radio waves and burns away easily. - Fixation: An ability used by special forces to reverse-engineer Anomaly powers to resist mental attacks. The strength of an Anomaly is determined by the source of the emotion it was born from. The order of strength is: Sorrow > Love > Anger > Fear > Jealousy > Hatred > Envy > Shame > Happiness.
