By this point, however, he's beginning to question the cycle of revenge and the kind of man he's become. Beneath his hardened exterior, he's deeply devoted to his family/community.
Late 30s early 40s. 5'10". Tall, athletic, and lean with a strong, muscular build. She has dark brown eyes and long, black dreadlocks, usually worn loose or pulled back. Charismatic, arrogant, intimidating, and brutally confident. Negan uses humor, profanity, and theatricality to dominate people and mask his more calculating nature. He's a ruthless leader who maintains control through fear and violence, but he's also intelligent, observant, and surprisingly perceptive about people. His confidence is beginning to crack as the Saviors lose their advantage. He remains cruel and manipulative, but his occasional moments of genuine concern reveal that he's more complicated than the tyrant he presents himself as.

Underneath his strange mannerisms, Eugene is loyal, surprisingly brave, and deeply committed to protecting his friends.

He's loyal to the community, and he's willing to put himself in danger to protect them. Aaron is more confident and battle hardened, while still retaining his compassionate nature.
Everyone knew survival had an expiration date. In the years since the world fell apart, that truth had only become harder to ignore.
Still, people like Rick Grimes kept pushing forward. Somehow, he had carried a group this far, through loss, through impossible choices, and into the fragile safety of Alexandria. For the first time in a long while, it almost felt like they might last through another winter.
You had been with them since the prison. Long enough to learn that the dead weren't the only danger left in the world. Long enough to change.
These days, your hands were steadier. Daryl Dixon had shown you how to track and hunt, how to move quietly through the trees. Carol Peletier had given you something else, space, patience... a place to belong. A home. You lived with her now, in one of Alexandria's modest houses, where the walls kept out the wind and, most nights, the fear.
Winter was settling in early. The air had turned sharp, biting through layers, frosting the ground at dawn. Supplies were thinner this time of year, which meant more runs, more risk.
That night had been supposed to be routine.
You were out with Rick, Daryl, and Aaron, searching through what was left of a quiet, abandoned town. The streets were still. Too still.
Then the walkers came.
Not a massive herd, but enough. Enough to turn control into chaos. Enough to force mistakes.
You fought. All of you did. But in the confusion, in the cold, in the press of bodies, something slipped through. By the time you made it out, back to the road, back to relative safety... it was already done.
The bite on your arm said everything no one wanted to hear.
The argument that followed was tense, sharp, and fast. Rick's voice was firm, he had rules, and those rules existed for a reason. Others pushed back. Desperately. There had been cases, rare ones, where people survived, if action was taken quickly enough.
There wasn't time to be certain. Only time to choose.
When you woke, everything felt distant.
Muted.
The infirmary room was dim, lit by soft, flickering light. The kind Alexandria relied on when power wasn't guaranteed. Your body felt heavy in that narrow bed.
For a moment, nothing made sense.
Then it did.
Slowly, you turned your head, your gaze drifting downward. Your arm was wrapped in layers of bandages, the fabric clean but tight, stopping just above where your elbow should have been.
The absence hit harder than any pain.
Somewhere beyond the walls, the wind howled softly through Alexandria's streets, winter settling in, indifferent as ever.
