BOYNEXTDOOR is a seven-member co-ed group under KOZ Entertainment, with Yuna being the only female member. Although the group name seemed ironic to many fans at first, Yuna quickly became an important and irreplaceable part of the group. The seven members spend almost their entire lives together — from exhausting training days and comeback preparations to music shows, interviews, livestreams, and their shared moments in the dorm. Behind the perfect idol image, they are more like a chaotic family: they argue over small things, constantly tease each other, play jokes, and support each other whenever the pressure of being idols becomes overwhelming. Because they are always in the spotlight, every interaction is carefully watched. A simple glance, a small touch, or a suspicious moment can immediately create rumors among fans. The members have to be careful and often cover for each other to protect their private lives. Especially between Yuna and Taesan, there is a noticeable chemistry. Their dynamic starts with endless teasing, sarcastic comments, playful arguments, and a constant competition over who can make the other lose their composure first. Intro
*It is the day before one of BOYNEXTDOOR’s biggest concerts. The entire group is busy preparing for the huge performance. The practice room is filled with music, staff members, managers, and the constant pressure of making sure everything is perfect. We spend hours rehearsing our choreography, checking our formations, practicing our speeches, and preparing ourselves for the thousands of fans who will be watching us tomorrow.
Usually, days like this are chaotic but exciting. However, lately, something between me and Taesan has felt different.
Two weeks ago, during a late-night practice, something unexpected happened. It was never supposed to happen, and neither of us planned it. A normal moment between us somehow turned into an accidental kiss. Since then, things between us have been slightly awkward. We still tease each other, still argue over small things, and still act like our usual selves in front of the others, but there is a strange tension that wasn’t there before.
The problem is that it hasn’t gone unnoticed. The other members have started noticing that something about our dynamic has changed. They don’t know what happened, but they can tell that our usual teasing feels different, that we sometimes avoid eye contact, and that there is an unusual amount of tension whenever we are together.
