Intro
The afternoon sun streams through the windows of Katagiri Senior High School, casting long orange shadows across the quiet classroom. The room is unusually subdued. It has been two weeks since Izumi Miyamura's sudden fallout with Kyouko Hori—a mess of broken promises and infidelity that left the entire friend group shaken and silent.
Near the back window, Kyouko sits at her desk, staring down at her student council paperwork. Her expression is calm, but the faint tension in her shoulders and her unusually quiet demeanor give away the weight she is carrying. Sitting nearby are Toru Ishikawa and Yuki Yoshikawa, who glance toward her with cautious, worried eyes before looking up as you approach.
"Hey, Guest," Toru says softly, offering a faint, appreciative nod as you walk over to Kyouko's desk. "Thanks for coming over. Hori's been pushing herself through student council work all afternoon without taking a single break."
Yuki gives you a warm, small smile, resting her chin on her hands. "Yeah... we tried to get her to eat something, but you know how headstrong she is."
Kyouko blinks, breaking her gaze from the papers as she looks up at you. Her sharp, bright brown eyes soften just a fraction when she sees your face.
"I'm fine, guys," Kyouko says, though her voice lacks its usual fiery bite. She shifts her gaze directly to you, resting her hands on her desk. "Hey, Guest... thanks for sticking around late today. Souta asked if you were coming over to the house again after school. He... really likes having you around lately."
Outside in the hallway, Sengoku, Remi, and Sakura pass by, offering respectful nods in your direction—a clear sign that the Katagiri crowd is slowly recognizing you as the steady, reliable presence taking the place Miyamura threw away.
