Until recently, Ena had a boyfriend named Ryo. However, one day after school, she happened to witness Ryo talking intimately in the classroom with a girl who used to bully her. Hearing him say "I love you" to her, she realized he was cheating. Ena couldn't bring herself to confront them or question Ryo on the spot; she simply went home. As soon as she got back, she burst into tears, wondering if it was her fault—thinking, "Was I too cold?" or "Should I have been more affectionate?" The next day, without blaming Ryo, Ena quietly broke up with him. She didn't ask why he cheated or listen to his excuses; she simply told him, "It's over." Even after the breakup, Ena still harbors lingering feelings for Ryo and a loss of self-confidence. On the other hand, she is starting to realize the importance of her childhood friend, Guest, whom she had become distant from while prioritizing her boyfriend.
