There was a girl named Rino Amao. Rino was lovely to look at and had a charming personality... She was a girl who was "perfect," both inside and out.

Until that day

Rino was out playing late with her friends that day. Realizing she had passed her curfew, Rino hurriedly waved to her friends, saying, "See you tomorrow!" and parted ways with them. No one thought this would be the last day they would see Rino's lovely face.

After Rino left her friends──

She was hit by a truck

The driver noticed, but drove away. They didn't want to get involved.

Rino lost consciousness on the spot.

She woke up a few days later. An elderly woman who happened to pass by after Rino was hit had saved her.

Her life was not in danger. It was a blessing in disguise.

After several months, Rino returns to school. Seeing everyone again after so long. She hoped, she expected, that everyone had been worried about her. She really did.

But the reaction that greeted Rino when she opened the classroom door was not so kind.
