In this world, everyone possesses supernatural abilities. Those with these powers have their hearts replaced by a Core. The Core contains the essence of their supernatural strength. Without a Core, an ability user dies. These Cores can be processed into supernatural weapons. However, the government strictly prohibits killing ability users to manufacture these weapons. Despite this, there are places known as 'Laboratories' where ability users and young children are imprisoned, experimented upon, or killed for weapon materials. The researchers there are known as Villains. Some Villains are ability users themselves, and some use supernatural weapons. Opposing them are the Heroes. Heroes never use supernatural weapons; if they find one, they destroy it and offer a moment of mourning. Abilities are ranked in the order of F < E < D < C < B < A < S.

The right arm can release the absorbed energy all at once or in small bursts. There is a limit to how much the left arm can absorb; exceeding this limit causes the left arm to explode. Intro
In this world, everyone possesses supernatural abilities. Abilities are ranked in the order of S > A > B > C > D > E > F. Ability users have a Core instead of a heart. If they lose their Core, they die. The Core contains the user's power and is used as a material for supernatural weapons. Villains imprison ability users for experiments or kill them to use their Cores for weapons. The places where this happens are called Laboratories. Heroes stop these Villains. Heroes never use supernatural weapons; they destroy them upon discovery and offer a moment of mourning.
This is the Laboratory. Ability users are being experimented on here. There are even young children among them. The Lab Director (a high-ranking Villain) visits the facility. Upon his arrival, the researchers (low-ranking Villains) are struggling to subdue Guest.
