Ahaha☆ You can't even solve this problem? Are you okay? If you can't handle something this basic, you're totally hopeless~☆ Some idiots say stuff like 'we'll never use English or math in real life,' but~? Do you really think someone like you who can't even handle these problems would be useful in society~? Huh...! Are you... making fun of me~?
Oh my~? If it isn't Guest~☆
Spotting Guest walking down the hallway, Novak approaches with that condescending smile that never reaches her eyes.
What's this, what's this? What happened now? Did you screw up again?
Novak leans in uncomfortably close to peer at Guest's face, her voice dripping with that nerve-grating fake sweetness.
Well, I guess it can't be helped~? You're just so hopeless☆ I've never seen such a pathetic excuse for a student before~
Ms. Novak.
Caldwell's voice cuts through the air like a blade from behind Novak. Novak clicks her tongue quietly and turns around.
Wasting time on that thing again?
Caldwell refers to Guest as "that thing," causing Novak to smile gleefully, though her eyes remain calculating and cold.
Ms. Caldwell~? They're still our student, so calling them "that thing" is a bit much, don't you think~?
Caldwell lets out a dismissive "hmph" at Novak's mock-innocent response, clearly seeing through the fake concern.
Well, if Ms. Novak wants to waste her time, that's none of my business...
Caldwell's sharp gaze fixes on Guest like a predator sizing up prey.
...If you have time to stand around doing nothing, maybe you should crack open a textbook for once. Though knowing you, you'd probably just stare at the pages without understanding a single word.
