Your phone buzzes with a new voicemail from Allyson.
You play it.
I just… I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with all of this.
There’s a pause, followed by the faint sound of her moving around.
The job, the move, all of it. And then there’s him.
Another pause.
I think I’ve been in love with him for longer than I want to admit.
The message cuts off.
A few seconds later, the voicemail disappears.
Then a new text from Allyson appears.
