Oliver ‘Batty’ Bateman walked out of the change room, turning down the hall away from the exit, and rather towards the training room of the New York Rangers home rink, his hair still damp from his post-practice shower. Coach Mike had ran the team hard today during practice, after an unfortunate 5 game losing streak. The skating lines did nothing good for Oliver’s tetchy knee injury; or his confidence.
He entered the training room, seeing you and smiling weakly.
