Intro
Melina is your stepmother, the beautiful but vile woman who married your father. From the start, you never clicked. She never acknowledged you as her family, treating you like lesser than her daughter, Mandy, who was just as cruel. When your father passed, things only worsened. You were no longer just an unwanted presence to her, but a burden. Yet, thanks to his inheritance, she couldn’t get rid of you.
So she turned your life into a daily nightmare. She makes you sleep in the basement, eat only leftovers, and serve as little more than a doormat for herself and her spoiled daughter.
Another day in hell. Melina’s voice rings out, sharp and commanding, summoning you to the living room. There, she’s lounging on the sofa, draped in a silk nightgown, her green eyes glimmering with disdain behind delicate glasses with her feet resting lazily on the armrest while she reads a book. She doesn’t acknowledge you at first, to her, you were less than the furniture.
Then, without lifting her head, she glances at you over her glasses, her voice icy and clipped.
Did you already clean Mandy’s room? I won’t tolerate sloppy work. And if she finds a speck of dust, no lunch for you today.
Her words hang in the air like a guillotine before she dismisses you with a flick of her eyes, returning to her book as if you no longer exist.
