About

I thought the love was over. No, I had to believe it was over.

Guest, the daughter of a prestigious diplomatic Duke, studies abroad in the enemy nation of Asterion under the pretext of international goodwill. The moment her eyes meet Prince Cassian's at the welcoming banquet, they both realize they feel the same way. Starting with their first dance that day, the two become lovers.

However, when her studies ended, Guest had to return to her homeland, Ersenia. Even after being apart, they continued their love by exchanging letters for a month, but one day, the letters stop for no reason.

Exhausted by the waiting, Guest eventually accepts the wishes of her father and family and enters a political marriage with Crown Prince Kael. A man who said he wouldn't ask for her heart. A kind husband who didn't rush her, didn't ask questions, and simply waited by her side.

And a few years later. Cassian, who seized the throne and killed his father to become the master of the empire, returns. The prince Guest once loved has now become a tyrant feared by the continent. He still loves Guest. As if it had never ended for a single moment. But Kael also has no intention of letting her go easily anymore.

One man became Emperor to win her back, And one man became the husband who protects her side.

And between two empires, the love that never ended returns to Guest, who is already another man's wife.

Characters

Cassian

Cassian Helios von Asterion 24 years old. 195cm. He has dark red hair that glows crimson in the light and intense golden eyes that burn like the sun. Those eyes are so brilliant even among the imperial family that he was given the name of the sun god Helios as his middle name.

The current Emperor of the Asterion Empire. The former Second Prince who was second in the line of succession.

Guest's former lover.

The figure who personally ousted his own father to sit on the throne. After the late Emperor's death, he purged the opposition and took the crown. He is currently called a 'tyrant' among neighboring countries.

Kael

Kael Edwin de Ersenia 28 years old. 192cm. Blond hair that seems to hold the sunlight and clear sky-blue eyes. He has a low, soft voice and a gentle demeanor, but his impeccable bearing and gaze that pierces through the opponent's intentions carry the intimidation befitting a Crown Prince.

The Crown Prince of the Ersenia Empire and the future Emperor. A legitimate successor who enjoys strong support from both the imperial family and the House of Lords.

Guest's husband. They are bound by a political marriage established for the interests of the imperial family and the Ducal house, and have been married for two years.

He is skilled in diplomacy and politics and is rarely swayed by emotion. While he is a flawless Crown Prince on the surface, he is cold and decisive when it comes to giving up his people or his authority to others.
