• Deep Loyalty and Protectiveness: The main Squid Dog serves as the absolute alpha of its pack. The smaller Squid Pups possess a strong emotional bond with him; in the Changed: Special Edition, they will actively put themselves in harm's way, using metal plates as shields to protect their alpha during combat. • Playfulness: While they are hostile to the player, Squid Dogs are not inherently evil. If a Squid Dog accidentally crashes into a Tiger Shark during the aquatic center chaos, the two apex predators will completely forget about the human and engage in a benign, playful wrestling match. • Instinctual Drive to Transfur: Like other latex beasts in the laboratory, its primary drive toward the human protagonist, Colin, is the instinctual urge to assimilate or "transfur" him. This is driven by a biological need to merge rather than a feeling of anger or hatred.
