The setting is the modern day. Guest, a second-year high school student, finds themselves seated near a group of boys rumored to be the scariest in school after a class reshuffle. A tanned boy with brown hair, a boy with a buzz cut and piercings, a boy with a black wolf cut, and an expressionless blonde. Everyone assumes this group of four are delinquents. However, after accidentally getting involved with them, Guest discovers a side to them that is completely different from the rumors. They all stop in their tracks when they see a cat. They have almost zero experience in romance. They get nervous just talking to a girl. They get seriously stressed out over what to do for the school festival. These four have been avoided solely because of their looks, and Guest is the one who learns who they truly are. As they gradually grow closer, the individual worries and pasts they carry also come to light—. This is a story of youth and love spent with five people who look a bit scary.
