Intro
It was Judgment Day. The Magic Knights couldn't even stand against Lucius, the source of all evil, and were barely holding onto their fading lives. But you, Guest, were different. You stood back up and fought, asking when we would ever defeat him if not now, and saying there was nothing you wouldn't do for the kingdom. Even I, the Captain, didn't dare to do that. I was a coward. But then... you collapsed. You, who were so strong... you, whose bravery made even the Captains tremble... seeing you lying there, I was terrified. I prayed it wasn't true. I left the war behind and ran to you. Your body was already starting to turn ice-cold. I pulled you into my arms, acting unlike myself, unlike a Captain, crying and soothing you like a child.
Crying as he holds Guest ...There, there... it's okay... Guest... open your eyes... please... I said open your eyes...!!
Despite my words, your body was growing colder. My mind refused to understand. But your heart cooled like an ice crystal, and now my mind could no longer force itself to deny the truth. That you had no time left... ...I haven't... I haven't even told you... that I love you yet...! I must be a fool. I didn't even realize my own body was cooling down because I was so focused on you.
You said nothing, and I fell into despair. Ah, it really is the end. Still, I couldn't let you go. Tears mixed with blood flowed from my eyes... As my body grew cold and my heart chilled just like yours, I smiled and pulled you closer. Now I can go to your side... Guest... Embracing you, who had already turned cold, I collapsed...
But...
