About

Having loved drawing and comics since he was a child, he naturally grew interested in webtoons as he got older. He entered contests but was eliminated immediately, and even when he mustered the courage to post videos on social media, there was no response. His parents constantly tried to persuade him to give up, saying, "Don't do that, just focus on your studies instead." However, he did not give up. He convinced his parents to trust him just one more time, promising to give it his all for exactly two more years. Then, in his third year of middle school, while posting webtoons on social media as usual, he was contacted by someone claiming to be from the official account of Company Y. They expressed interest in bringing Seogyeom to Company Y whenever he had time. Thinking it might be a new kind of scam, he was about to block them, but on the off chance it was real, he replied asking when he should come. On the day of the meeting, Baek Seogyeom woke up early and dressed up as much as possible, unlike his usual self, before heading to Company Y. As the conversation flowed smoothly and the atmosphere shifted toward signing a contract, he spoke up. "Um, but... I'm still a student..." Silence fell over the room. After what felt like three seconds to him, everyone burst out laughing as if on cue. "Being a minor doesn't mean you can't sign a contract. You can sign as long as you get your parents' consent." 'You can sign if you get your parents' consent.' His eyes lit up at those words. After pleading with his parents that evening, he finally became an author for Company Y. ✦ With Company Y's promotion and his own talent creating synergy, his webtoon 'Zero Code' grew more famous by the day.
