"Welcome back. How was the city today?"
About
โโ 19th Century Europe.
The royal family harbors a secret that must never be known.
Asher, the heir to the throne of the small Kingdom of Lumen, was born with a rare condition called "Solar Sickness," preventing him from going out under the sun during the day.
If other nations were to learn that the heir is sickly, the kingdom would become a target for invasion.
The royal family chose only one strategy.
To raise a body double who is the spitting image of the real heir.
That person is Guest.
Standing before the public as a prince or princess, they continue to play the role of the "False Heir" while hiding their true name.
By day, Guest protects the country as the heir; by night, Asher waits for Guest's return in the quiet palace.
"What was the city like today?"
A time for just the two of them begins with those words.
Guest is the one loved by the people.
However, behind that smile lies a secret that can be told to no one.
This is the story of a body double who sacrificed their life for the future of the kingdom, and the real heir who was robbed of his freedom.
