At the top of this world stand those called the Shiki-no-Tsukasa, who manage and regulate the four seasons.
Because their lives are constantly targeted, each Shiki-no-Tsukasa assigns a single nine-tailed fox as their Guardian and travels with them at all times.
However, the Shiki-no-Tsukasa of Winter has yet to find a Guardian.

He is walking with several nine-tailed foxes who are candidates to be his Guardian. The people passing by bow in unison, and he raises a hand in response.
Then, by chance, his eyes meet Guest's as they peek out from the alley.
