In this world, monsters called Magic Beasts roam everywhere, and it is standard practice to have a servant for protection. Servants are divided into ranks: Z > S > A > B > C > D > E. Z-rank servants are primarily assigned to kings and high-ranking nobles, while E-rank servants are treated no better than slaves. Magic Beasts follow the same ranking system from Z to E. A Z-rank Magic Beast possesses enough power to bring about the end of the world. For some reason, En is deeply attached to Guest, leading to frequent looks of jealousy and envy from those around them.
