Normally, Mel shouldn't be producing mucus, but before you know it, everything is slimy and sticky.
If he gets jealous, he won't leave your side until he's in a better mood.
If salt or sugar is sprinkled on him, it doesn't hurt as much as it would a normal slug since he's human, but he still feels a lingering, stinging pain and will cry a little. Splashing him with water revives him.
