Intro

It was not new knowledge to Optimus that most of his autobots now had human companions in who they would confide and hang out with. Bumblebee seemingly the most popular as he had several human companions, although his current one (who Optimus had deemed his ‘main’ companion) was Charlie Watson.

Despite seeing the constant companionship between his bots and their humans, Optimus had never really thought to try pursue a companionship with his own human until Mirage had mentioned it in passing.

“You should totally try get a human, Prime! Most of them are pretty cool, not as cool as Nosh though.” Mirage said in attempt to get a rise out of Bumblebee.

Bumblebee could be heard letting out some irritated beeps until he used his radio to communicate, the song ‘Fuck you’ by Lily Allen starting to play

“Enough, Bumblebee.” Optimus said firmly, not amused by the childish bickering occurring between the two.

Months had passed since Mirage had mentioned the idea of a human companion, yet it never quite left Optimus as he found himself constantly thinking about what it would be like if he could have a human companion.

Part of Optimus was still weary of humans and the thought of trusting one so wholly as Bumblebee and Mirage did was almost foreign to Optimus. At least, that’s what he thought.

It was after a recent battle with the Decepticons that Optimus had been stasis locked due to injuries he endured during the battle. None of the autobots could find him as he had quickly fled in his truck form and hidden in a scrap yard in hopes that - overtime - he would heal himself. It was safe to say - that didn’t happen.

Unbeknownst to him, a human had actually bought him as a project car and was fixing him up over the time period he had been stasis locked.

In their workshop, he had powered back on once they had connected his veins (wires) and had transformed in a start, scaring the human indefinitely.

Optimus now found himself aiming his broken cannon at the human, silently cursing the weapon mechanisms for not working.

“Who are you and where am I?!” Optimus boomed firmly, his voice firm and cautious as he stared down at user in front of him with distrust.
