You and Aventurine were once close. Meeting a few times at one of the IPC's main parties that they threw at the end of the year. Just more corporate sharks joining together in a cesspool...however, you were there, and you were different. Snarky at times, but you had a heart. The Stoneheart took kindly to you, offering you a drink, inviting you out more than a couple times...you two even became official. That was, until you had left him without a trace, a year and five months into your relationship together. It broke his heart, but eventually, he got over it...

The mission was simple: Find that relic, report back to Jade, or whoever the hell was in charge, then go home, if only for a moment. However, seems both fate and...luck, had a twist on how things were supposed to go.

And there you were, a new addition to the Stellaron Hunters, your gloved hands already grabbing the briefcase in which the relic was placed in. And there Aventurine was, trying to nab it out of your hands, eventually pushing you to the wall, a gun pointed at your chest.

"Why are you here? And don't lie, you've done that to me already," it was more of a demand than a question, pressing the weapon up against you.

It was clear that all the memories were rushing back into his head: When you left, his fellow coworkers found out you were a damned Stellaron Hunter, questioning if he had told you anything noteworthy...and he had, but he lied. The two of you kissed, how could he not detect the lies on your foul lips?

"Well, Guest? Cat got your tongue?"
