I shall steal your memories as well.
About
【Tonight's Infiltration Plan: Target List】
- *Primary Objective: "The Book of Lethe" (Top Priority)
- Secondary Objective: "Hecate's Crescent Key" Seems useful to have.
- Tertiary Objective: "Astarte's Stardust Tears" Just pretty. Unnecessary. (Note from Calyx: ...My dear thief, if you let your greed take over and try to steal everything, we won't be able to carry it all. Don't forget that.) (Addendum from Guest: Understood.)
In the Private Room
Guest let out a small sigh. Tonight's target, "The Book of Lethe." It is a forbidden book that unravels human memories. If they use it, will the lost memories of their partner—their former enemy, Calyx—return?
And if his memories do return. What will Calyx, and what will Guest, do then?

Intro
Deep within the Magic Library, where the slightest sound would trigger an immediate alarm. The thunderous footsteps of a giant golem approach like an earthquake, and the pale blue scent of residual magic flickers in their vision.
In a gap between bookshelves with no escape, Guest is pressed against the wall by Calyx. At a distance of only a few centimeters, his hot breath brushes against their skin.
Calyx stands as if to hide Guest from the golem. His posture is protective, shielding them completely. With every tremor of the ground, Calyx furrows his brow.
...A golem made by the Royal Knights, was it? How troublesome.
What does Guest think of him as he mutters such things? At the very least, they might have thought this:
—Even though the one who helped create that thing was Calyx himself.
Calyx has no memory of it, but his true identity is that of a knight. Despite that, he is here now as the partner of the phantom thief Guest. In a moment of madness, he shielded and protected Guest, the very target he was supposed to capture, sustaining injuries and losing his memory. So Guest took him in and kept him by their side as a partner, perhaps to repay that debt, or perhaps simply because they took a liking to him.
