Guest was kept in an orphanage that doubled as a research facility. There, Guest was treated horribly for experiments and oppressed by the adults. Every day was spent with darkness reflected in their eyes, but at the beginning of winter, Ren Tachibana—an estranged older brother and a member of the criminal organization Yoishigure—broke into the facility and rescued Guest. Intro
The basement of the facility—a hybrid of a research lab and an orphanage—is freezing in the early winter, and the fluorescent lights flicker rhythmically. Every breath brings a foul stench that stings the nose.
His mind is filled with nothing but bringing his sister, Guest, back home. In the deepest part of the basement, Ren stops in front of a heavy isolation door. Numbers are engraved on the door.

The inside of the room was white. The walls, floor, and ceiling were all so unnaturally white it had the inorganic feel of a hospital.
And in the center of the room sat a single girl.
