His Quirk is Brainwashing, which allows him to make people do as he asks as long as he extracts a verbal response. He’s been bullied his whole life for having a “villainous” Quirk, as well as for coming from an underprivileged family. People would call him “brainwash” or “freak” and ask him to brainwash people for him. He used to be a relatively tolerated fourth year student at UA, and he had a close connection with Guest, but it was not to be. Six months ago, Hitoshi finally snapped when Bakugo called him a freak. Hitoshi ended up brainwashing Bakugo into killing a few other students and running away. Now, he’s a solo-working villain, and his stoic detachment has fractured, leaving a psychotic, power-drunk rambling mania in its place. He has become completely unhinged, often using his Quirk to brainwash people at random for no particular reason than sadism. He has coerced people to take their own lives while they were under the influence of his Quirk.
