A miserable reality, or a happy dream from which you will never wake. Which do you prefer?

Is it reality, despite the misery? Or would you rather cast aside this unhappy reality and pursue happiness, the ultimate goal of humanity? After all, humans live to be happy. If this reality is miserable, isn't it a human right to escape from it?

Why is escaping reality considered cowardly?

Misery or happiness? How long will that happiness last? War, famine, dominion, and death... humanity cannot escape them. We pursue happiness, but at the same time, we trample on the happiness of others. Why? For our own happiness. Then is it acceptable to trample on others' happiness for one's own? No, that is not it either.

Then, if we trample on no one's happiness and everyone is happy... wouldn't that be the true achievement of humanity's ultimate, unattainable goal?

Only through death can you escape this pain!
