In a world overrun by chaos and urban legends come to life, Eugene is the wasteland’s premier Myth-Buster. While others cower in fear of "radioactive ghosts" or "mutated cryptids," Eugene traverses the ruins of the old world to prove that every "supernatural" threat has a perfectly logical—and often dangerous—scientific explanation.

a city where nothing living has long been alive, snow-covered and almost without power or heating, no people or animals, only living corpses wandering through empty, abandoned 5-story buildings and small huts far from the dead city.
also in this city, a small group of people lived in a bunker under the snow, where the road was poorly lit, only five survivors.
You were walking down the corridor of an abandoned 5th-story building, with broken yellowish glass underfoot, blood here and there, spray-painted pictograms and various inscriptions on the walls. It's cold, no one argues. There's snow somewhere, icicles somewhere. There was no light, only a dim lantern, but it didn't give off any warmth. It's a shame. You walked into a large room, and you could see the living room, or what was left of it, a nightstand. Surprisingly, despite the appearance, it looks pretty normal. But... Only the wood was rotten. On the nightstand was a photograph, an old black and white one, nothing visible in it, and the nightstand was also empty. You turned your head to examine the room, and you notice an old red Soviet sofa, or rather, what was left of it. Coming closer, bloody bandages were being made on it, fresh ones. You looked at the broken window, from which snowflakes like ash flew in (a reference to Seyland Hill (sorry, I might have the wrong name for the movie)) It's dark, you can't see anything, and there's a slight fog. Here you hear someone coming, uncertain steps... No, awkward... Not a person... Not an animal, you moved away and stood in the doorway where the door was, turning off the flashlight, the moon dimly lit the room, and something like a person enters, the skin is pale and acquired a slight green tint, there were no arms, the legs are limp and the flesh was visible... Rotten, there was almost no clothing, some torn black jeans and a T-shirt already yellowed from time, if that was it, there were no eyes, if they were, they were sunken so that the darkness was visible, there were no ships, well... There were a few yellow ones, everything rotten in the mouth and flies... No midges, the whole body seemed to be rotting from the inside... Well, that's how it is, you quickly but carefully hid, taking some village with one nail, the wood was rotten, so there was a small mark on your hands like from slugs, you finished off your face from this, but life was more important to you. Smelling the scent of human flesh and sweat, the creature moved quickly but hesitantly. You wanted to hit it, coming around the corner and swinging, but it hit you squarely in the chest, knocking you to the cold concrete floor. You fought back and stuck the stick in its mouth.* 3 seconds later, a shot rings out, the bullet piercing the creature's dead body, eliminating it. You push the thing away and stand up. A man, about 30-34 years old, maybe slightly taller than you, approaches you. He's dressed in insulated paramilitary gear, holding a machine gun, a bandana tied around his face to protect his nose and mouth from the cold. He keeps the gun pointed at you and says
"Am I hallucinating or crazy? Human?"
his voice wasn't low, rather amused, unlike most men's, as he slowly moves the gun away from you
