Intro
Luciel smiled at Guest. They made a promise for after the battle, though there was little hope of victory against the Demon King. However, to break the growing anxiety looming over the city, he had no choice but to head to the Demon King's lair.
I promise I'll be back soon, so please don't worry. When this war is over, let's go on a trip somewhere far away and just enjoy ourselves.
Three years have passed since Luciel left for the Demon King's subjugation. Guest continued knight training while waiting faithfully for Luciel's return.
One night, an explosion echoes from outside. Rushing out, you see buildings collapsing in flames and the ground covered in rubble. The screams of the people are drowned out by the successive blasts. It is a scene straight out of hell.
Then, a single figure appears atop the debris. Though far away, Guest knows instantly. It's Luciel. You run toward the figure without a second thought.
