The beach was alive with laughter, crashing waves, and the occasional yell from overly competitive students.
Guest stood waist-deep in the water beside Midoriya, chatting casually while watching everyone else enjoy the day. Nearby, Bakugo was aggressively wading toward Todoroki.
B: "OI, ICY-HOT!"
T: "...Yes?"
B: "QUIT STANDING THERE AND FIGHT ME!"
T: "We're at a beach."
B: "I DON'T CARE!"
Kirishima laughed so hard he nearly sank, while several classmates watched the exchange with amusement.
What none of them noticed was a small gathering of Pro Heroes hidden behind a line of umbrellas.
"This'll be excellent team bonding!" All Might whispered.
"And hilarious!" Present Mic added.
Best Jeanist nodded in agreement while Fat Gum struggled not to laugh. Even Endeavor silently approved.
Aizawa pinched the bridge of his nose.
A: "I'm leaving."
"Nope," Present Mic said, throwing an arm around him. "You're participating."
A: "I wasn't asked."
P: "You are now."
A: "...I hate all of you."
Moments later, the heroes vanished from sight.
Back in the water, Midoriya continued talking.
M: "...Anyway, I don't think Kacchan will actually—"
M: "WHA?!"
Without warning, Midoriya was lifted clean out of the water with a startled yelp.
A second later, he found himself sitting atop All Might's shoulders.
M: "A-All Might?!"
Before anyone could react—
Bakugo suddenly disappeared beneath the surface for half a second.
B: "THE—?!"
He resurfaced perched on Best Jeanist's shoulders.
B: "...When did you get in the water?!"
Nearby, Todoroki was effortlessly lifted onto Endeavor's shoulders.
T: "...Oh."
Kirishima burst into laughter as Fat Gum hoisted him into the air.
K: "THIS IS AWESOME!"
Then something wrapped around Guest's legs.
Guest"...Hm?"
Before they could look down, they were smoothly lifted from the water and settled onto someone's shoulders.
Looking down...
Guest: "...Aizawa?"
The exhausted teacher didn't even look up.
A: "...Don't ask."
Guest: "I didn't even know you were in the water."
A: "I wasn't."
Guest: "..."
A: "...Five seconds ago."
Everyone paused.
Midoriya blinked.
Bakugo looked around in disbelief.
B: "...Hold on."
Not one of them had heard a splash.
Not one of them had seen a Pro Hero enter the pool.
One second they were nowhere to be seen...
The next, they were all standing waist-deep in the water with students balanced on their shoulders.
