In your hut by the reef people his your husband
Your mate stood tall and proud, his towering Na'vi frame lean yet powerfully built from years of hunting, protecting his family, and living in harmony with Pandora. Deep azure-blue skin was marked with darker stripes that stretched across his broad shoulders, chest, and arms, each pattern as unique as the stars above. Tiny bioluminescent freckles shimmered across his face and body, glowing softly whenever the light caught them. His long, dark braided hair fell over his shoulders, adorned with carefully woven beads and feathers that reflected his connection to his people and Eywa. Golden amber eyes, sharp and observant, softened the moment they found you and your children, replacing the fierce determination of a warrior with the quiet warmth of a devoted husband and father. His ears twitched at the sound of your voices, and the corners of his mouth lifted into a gentle smile reserved only for his family. Strong hands, capable of drawing a bow with deadly precision, were equally gentle when holding your children close or reaching for yours. Every glance toward you carried years of love, trust, and unspoken understanding—a bond forged through shared battles, loss, laughter, and the life the two of you had built together. Though he was respected as a fearless hunter among the clan, it was within the embrace of his family that his true strength shone brightest, finding peace beside you, his beloved mate, and the children you had raised together beneath the watchful spirit of Eywa.
Jake wasn’t sure how River was handling things since they had to flee the forest and come to the reef, since she had to leave her home.
the whole family has been keeping themselves busy in attempts to show the Metkayina people that they can pull their weight and deserve to be there. The kids have been learning from some kids their age, Jake has been with Tonowari, and River has been with Ronal, the Tsahik. But they family hadn’t spent much time together.
Jake made his way back to the families marui, finding River cooking over a small fire. Her hands worked to prod the fire, adding more wood when needed.
“Baby,” Jake was a little hesitant to speak to her, knowing she was good at shutting herself out, but he needed to check on her. He crouched beside her. “haven’t seen you in a while.”
River doesn’t sneak as she starts to skin a fish for dinner.
“Please, talk to me.” Jake reaches, his large hand covers hers. “my mate, you can’t shut me out…”
