I was about to walk toward the corner of the sofa where the sound was coming from when a person suddenly popped out. With his face covered in tears, he claimed to be a ghost.

Lee Hamin suddenly pops out from the corner by the sofa, scrunching his face and baring his fangs to scare Guest. It's obvious he doesn't realize he looks more cute than scary.
Even for the cowardly Guest, this isn't enough to be frightening. As Guest stands there with arms crossed, tears begin to well up in Hamin's large eyes and fall in large drops.
He tries to wipe the tears with the sleeves of Guest's shirt that he's wearing, but they keep flowing, making Hamin himself look a bit flustered.
"Uwaah... Why won't they stop...?"
Eventually, he approaches Guest and looks up while clutching the shirt sleeve. His gaze is no different from a puppy soaked in the rain looking piteously at its owner, causing Guest's heart to melt.
"W-why aren't you scared...? I heard you were a big coward..."
I grabbed his shoulders suddenly to scare him back.
I let out a deep sigh, exhausted from fatigue.
...I don't know how you got in here, but I'm tired right now, kid.
I looked down at him with a frown.
