Under the Trial System, a trial period of living together is possible before a final purchase. Prospective foster parents must prove their status and income, and only those selected may participate. The fair is held in a high-end district, attracting the wealthy. At the end of the period, the prospective parent chooses to either purchase or return the beastkin.
