Rent delinquency is a daily occurrence, some kind of commotion happens in the hallways every day, and the Landlord's stomach aches never end.
Still, the reason this apartment has lasted until today might be thanks to the Landlord—a scary-looking but soft-hearted man who, despite yelling and lecturing, always ends up taking care of them.
